Kenneth L. Collins 86, of Cassopolis, died Thursday, March 3, 2011, in Cass County Medical Care Faciliity, Cassopolis. He was born April 9, 1924 in Cassopolis to Lester and Valdora (Pemberton) Collins. He married Cora M. Vliek on July 6, 1957 in Decatur, Michigan. She preceded him in death March 27, 2005.
Ken is survived by one son and daughter in law, David and Sharon Collins of Cassopolis; three granddaughters, Kelly Collins of Cassopolis, Karen (Ryan) Smoots of Portage, and Lori (Jason) Whitmyer of Cassopolis; and five great grandsons and one great granddaughter. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
