Kenneth “Kenny” Lehman Wilhelm, 80, of Clarksburg passed away on July 6, 2022 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. He was born October 30, 1941 in Terra Alta, WV, son of the late Charles Walter and Valeria Jay Frame Wilhelm.
Kenny graduated from Victory High School, Class of 1961 where he was a star basketball player, #11. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Coral Sea during the Vietnam War.
Kenny is survived by his two sons, Shane Wilhelm, Clarksburg, Jason Wilhelm and wife Katie, Long Bottom, OH; one daughter, Mendi Wentz, Clarksburg; eight grandchildren, Lisa Marple and Jason, Joshua Dutchess and Cherish, Shane Michael Wilhelm and Vanessa, Zachary Wilhelm and fiancée Adrey Hall, Kason Wilhelm, Ayden Wilhelm, Alexis Wilhelm and Kannon Wilhelm; seven great grandchildren, David Lee Marple II, Leaunna Dutchess, Aadyn Marple, Keegan Dutchess, Emma Wilhelm, Julianna Wilhelm and Vivienn Wilhelm; companion of twenty years and love of his life, Joan Kendall, Sardis; her children, Curtis and Darrell “Brove” Kendall, Lynette and Monti Carpenter and daughter Hannah; two brothers, Harold Frame Wilhelm and companion Patty Blankenship, Spelter, Robert “Bob” Wilhelm and Cheryl, Stonewood; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Kenny was preceded in death by his two sisters, Helen Clonz and Dolores Jean Grossa; two brothers, James Wilhelm and David Wilhelm; former wife, Sharon Kay Evans Wilhelm.
