Kenneth J. Roberts, 96, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:35 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2006, in St. Josephs Regional Medical Center. Kenneth was born on November 13, 1909 in Lydick, IN, to Clifford and Frances (Zelasko) Roberts. He retired in 1975 as the Supervisor of Engineering Production at South Bend Range. He had worked for South Bend Range for thirty years and had also worked for D & D Heating. On June 18, 1930, in St. Adalbert Church, he married Josephine Lechtanski, who preceded him in death on January 26, 1990. Also preceding him in death were a daughter, Hilda Cencelewski; a son-in-law, Richard Cencelewski; a grandson, Michael Kil; a brother, George Roberts; two sisters, Vera Davis and Mary Terlecki; and by his step-mother, Cora Roberts. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Betty (Richard) Kil of South Bend, IN, eight grandchildren, Larry (Helen) Cencelewski, Richard (Sally) Cencelewski, Joseph Kil, Linda (Denny) Ducolon, Gregory (Diane) Kil, Mark Cencelewski, Paul (Maria) Kil, Caryle (Dean) Neff; twenty great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and by one sister, Rose Laskowski of South Bend, IN.
