Kenneth Lee Gruber, 64, of Peru, passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Clinton, IA.
Mr. Gruber was born February 24, 1951 in Spring Valley to Edward and Mary (Senek) Gruber. He married Lynette R. Favela on July 26, 2001 in Ottawa. Mr. Gruber was a graduate of LaSalle-Peru High School and Illinois Valley Community College. He was retired from Caterpillar. He enjoyed fishing and antique shopping and was an avid collector of Coca-Cola memorabilia.
Survivors include three children, Barbara L. Favela and Jessica S. Ongalo both of Princeton and Christopher C. Ongalo of Peru and two granddaughters, Amiya and Jaiona. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lynette on November 25, 2008 and his brother, Edward.
