Goering, Jr. and James “Jim” (Rose) Goering, both of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter, Judy (Carol) Lenger of Knoxville, Iowa; step-son, Marty (Melissa) Watters of Mitchellville, Iowa; his 2 step-daughters, Melissa “Misty” McSparen of Oskaloosa, Iowa and Mary Watters of Newton, Iowa; 5 grandchildren; his 5 step-grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; his 2 brothers, Franklin (Alice) Goering of Leon, Iowa and Donnie Goering of Davenport, Iowa; 2 sisters, Frances Krutsinger of Chariton, Iowa and Katharine (William) Kimzey of New Virginia, Iowa; and his many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gladys (Lovell) Goering; 5 brothers; 1 sister; and a step-grandson.
Kenneth was a production worker at the Maytag Company for 23 years, retiting in 1992.
He enjoyed lawn care and was certified in small engine repair. Kenneth liked to work on tractors and mowers, travel,and garden.
