Longtime Denver resident Kenneth Earl Dodson, 80, also known as “Pops” passed away on December 22, 2020. He was born on April 17, 1940, in Denver, Colorado to parents Earl and Lillie Dodson. Kenneth served his community as a fire fighter for the Sheridan Fire Department for many years. After retiring from the fire department, he drove a semi for Safeway and King Soopers. Kenneth was well known for the extravagant Doll Houses he made. He would smash cans and donate the proceeds to charity. He enjoyed working on puzzles, four wheeling, camping, hunting, riding on his tractor and racing. He loved his family above all. He was a caring, nurturing father and husband, who enjoyed spending time with and teaching his children, Kenneth was a friend to everyone and an avid outdoorsman. He had a passion for teaching and took great pride in guiding people and teaching them his love for the outdoors. Kenneth was a storyteller, who could entertain anyone. His smile was always the center of the room.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Alicemarie Dodson of Arvada; children, Kenneth G. (Christa) Dodson of Arvada; David E. (Tracey) Dodson of Littleton; Travis L. (Courtney) McMasters of Denver; Alice (Claude) Stalions of Texas; and sister Vera Tavner. Kenneth is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and  1 great great grandson. 

He was preceded in death by his children Christopher R. Dodson and Carla L. McMasters and parents Earl and Lillie Dodson.

Cremation has been chosen by the family.
