Kenneth E. Myers age 86, of Ashland, died Wednesday October 12, 2011 at Samaritan Regional Health System. He was born on June 17, 1925, in Perrysville, the son of Eugene Manderfield and Sylvia Belle (Etzwiler) Myers. Mr. Myers had lived most all of his life in Ashland. He retired from Hydromatic Pump. He was a member of the Masons. He was an Army veteran of World War II; he was wounded in battle in the European Theater. In his earlier years, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, often making his own fishing lures.
Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Marian Myers; daughter and son in-law, Cheryl and Clyde Ginther of Brunswick; step daughter and step son in- law, Kathy and John Carter of Ashland; along with his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Vivian Myers; sister, Judith E. Myers; and his son, Kevin E. Myers.
