Kenneth E. Jones, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Lehigh Valley Hospital “” Muhlenberg. Born in Plymouth, Pa., Ken was a son of the late Elmer H., Sr. and Beulah (Herstine) Jones. He graduated from Plymouth High School in 1952 and Wilkes Barre Business College. Ken served in the US Army in 1957 and 1958. He worked for Bethlehem Steel as an Auditor for 30 years, retiring in 1994. He was a part-time bartender at local colleges, a Master Mason and a member of the Westside Republican Club. Survivors: his brothers, William E. Jones and his wife Barbara of Bethlehem and Elmer H. Jones, Jr., and his wife Margaret of Catasauqua; nieces, Jennifer Jones of Woodbridge, VA and Kerry Ann Branine of Wichita, KS and a nephew, David Jones of Bethlehem.
