Kenneth (Kenny) Brian Thompson, 43, of Cottonwood was born in Santa Maria, California on August 14, 1978. He passed away on Thursday, February 24, 2022, after a short battle of bacterial pneumonia.
Kenny was always there for his parents Karl and Mary Ann Stoltz of Winchester, Idaho. He had grand plans of retiring tomorrow and taking care of them. He also has two older siblings, Bobby (Michelle) of Creston, California, Sara of Nampa, Idaho, and four nephews. There are many childhood stories of riding motorcycles and causing mischief. Kenny attended Santa Maria High School graduating in the class of 1996. Where he played both football and baseball. Right after high school, he worked for Russco delivering and assembling office furniture before moving to Paso Robles, CA where he worked at NAPA Auto Parts. A few short years later, Kenny got married and had two children; Hayley and Ethan.
