Kelli Renea Kashon, 39, left this world for the heavens Monday August 8.
Kelli was born September 22, 1982, to her father David Kashon and her late mother Vickie Hurt. Kelli will be remembered as a smiling, free spirit, most proud of being Mother to her children, Jaydon, Antonio, Aubrey, and Braeden.
She was loyal to the ones she loved, only asking to receive the same in return. Kelli was kind and generous, her willingness for friendship was truly unmatched.
She had a profound love for music, journaling, and her cat and cuddle-buddy ‘Yayo’.
Kelli is preceded in death by her mother Vickie, and grandfather, David Hurt, both whom she missed dearly.
Kelli is survived by her children Antonio (Shay), Jaydon (Hannah), Aubrey, Braeden, and Quazar.
Father David (Terri) Kashon, Brothers Joshua and Luke, Sister Roxanne, Grandmother Nancy Hurt, Uncles David & Mark Hurt, Father of her children Adrian Dowdell, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as her first unborn grandchild due on her birthday.
To think of all the memories we have shared with Kelli, we must remember her favorite quote from Tupac Shakur, and also why she chose those words to represent her purpose and outlook on life.
“For every dark night, There is a brighter day.”
