Keith Darryl Lewis, Sr. age 51 of 191 Cedar Cove , Pelham, North Carolina, went to be with his Lord, Friday July 9, 2010. He was born September 7, 1958 in Danville, Va. to the late Herman W. Lewis and the late Christine Hall Lewis. Darryl was a diesel mechanic for over 23 years at First Piedmont, Nicks Towing and most recently Piedmont Ford Truck Center in Greensboro, NC. He coached and was affiliated with the little league of Caswell and Pittsylvania County. Through his Christian faith he led a courageous battle against esophageal/stomach cancer, he was diagnosed in June of 2008. Darryl is survived by his wife of 31 years, Sheila Burke Lewis of the residence, three sons, Keith Darryl Lewis, Jr. of Cary, NC, Quintin Shawn Lewis, P.T., D.P.T. and wife Tiffany Carter Lewis, and soon to be granddaughter Jordan Amaya of Farmville, Va. and Joshua Caleb Lewis of Cary, NC., and loving companion Max, three sisters, Pat Lewis Stubbles, Sandra Lewis Williams and Judy Lewis Lumpkin all of Danville, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and many friends. In addition to his parents Keith is predeceased by one sister Darlene Lewis White.
