Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our loved one, Keith. He touched everyone’s lives with his kind heart, loving and giving, helpful ways. He enjoyed working, spending times in the outdoors, spending times with family and friends. Especially with his best friend and faithful companion, his dog, Hobo.

Who always would be there to meet his Daddy when he came home. He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and a graduate of Daleville High School. Keith enjoyed walking and travelling to the Smokey Mountains and in Amish Country. Keith leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Ann Smith Brown; his faithful dog, Hobo; six children, Marta J. & husband Phil Stowers, Marianne Giles & husband Bernie, Michael K. Brown & wife Yvette, Mark S. Brown & wife Ingrid, Jerry McCord & wife Dianna and Pam McCord; sister, Helen Shellabarger of Yorktown; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Sally Dunn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles W. & M. Merea Haugh Brown; two brothers, Jackie L. Brown and William A. Brown and grandson, Joey Stotts.

He was currently employed as a parts delivery driver for O’Reilly’s Auto Parts. He was retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors and Brown Brothers Excavating, which he owned with his late brother, Jackie. In honor of our loved one’s wishes, there will be no viewing or services.
