Kay passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at the age of 76. She was born May 4, 1939 in Davenport, IA to the late George and Margaret (Keim) Manderson. Kay worked as a respiratory therapist for the V.A. Hospital in Battle Creek for 25 years.
Kay’s happiest times were spent in her garden, or at the Kalamazoo Institute of Art Ceramics studio. She was an accomplished potter, with hand built and wheel thrown art being her passion. Her other loves included reading, traveling, knitting, and spending time with her family. Kay was always open to her “next Great Adventure”. Kay is survived by her partner, Deb Fisher; children, Carl (Denice) Pauli and Catherine Pauli; 4 grandchildren; David, Logan, Anna, and Elizabeth.
