Katie Blackwell Marshall, 88, passed away on Wednesday August 31, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Granville County, daughter of the late Betty Mae Hart Blackwell and Marvin Blackwell.
Katie retired from Westinghouse in Raleigh and also Stein Mart.
Katie is survived by her husband; Bobby Marshall, son; Mike Marshall and wife Lindy of Garner, Grandsons Lee Marshall and his wife Brittany also of Garner and Will Marshall and his wife Marilee of Smithfield, NC; three great-grandchildren, Jackson Marshall, Jamie Marshall and Skylar Marshall; two brothers, Kenneth Blackwell and Sammy Blackwell and her sister, Betty Mitchell. She was preceded in death by sisters, Polly Jernigan and Margie Sagendorf and one brother, John William Blackwell.
