Kathy Burress, 56, of Ottawa passed away peacefully at her home in Ottawa on Saturday morning, April 15, 2017. Kathy was born February 18, 1961 in Ottawa, to Oatley and Barbara (Miskell) Burress.
She was the Manager of Thornton’s in Ottawa.She is survived by her daughter Rikki Alsvig, of Ottawa, 6 brothers and sisters, William (Brenda) Burress, of Ottawa, Mary (Daniel) Biba, of Marseilles,, Rick (Kathi) Burress of Marseilles, Dorothy Dale, of Ottawa, David (Gail) Burress, of Marseilles, and Kevin Burress, of Ottawa.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Barbara and Oatley Burress, maternal grandparents, Hulet and Hiddel Miskell, paternal grandparents, Riley and Cordia Burress, and the love of her life, Rick Alsvig.
