Kathy Steinmann, age 63 of Centralia passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia.
She was born on August 1, 1957 the daughter of John and Lela (Shuler) Helpingstine. On October 27, 1995 she married Michael F Steinmann, and he survives in Centralia.
Kathy is survived by a daughter, Rachel Barksdale and Matt Morton of Kell; two brothers, Bill Helpingstine and wife Patty of Centralia and Garry Helpingstine and wife Terrie of Buffalo, Wyoming.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her brother, Rob Helpingstine. Kathy loved the beach, especially her annual mother / daughter trip to Orange Beach. As a true walking miracle, she had a vibrant personality that captivated the hearts of everyone blessed to know her. She is proof that we should never give up hope.
