Kathy L. Warner, 53, of Port Charlotte and Jones, Mich., passed away at 1:30 a.m. Saturday (Feb. 26, 2011) at Port Charlotte Regional Medical Center from natural causes.
She was born Feb. 27, 1957, in Manchester, Tenn., to Elmer R. “Arkie” and Wanda J. (Franklin) Floyd. She married Stanley T. “Stan” Warner on Aug. 22, 1976, in Elkhart. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Tyannya V. (Rodney) Anglemyer of Jones and Christina M. (Derek) Ringer of South Bend; a son, Shawn T. Warner of Jones; three brothers, Dalen (Denise) Floyd of Phoenix, Ariz., Gary (Beth) Floyd of Elkhart and Terry Floyd of Bristol; her mother, Wanda J. Floyd of Fort Myers; and her first granddaughter, Ava Ringer, born Feb. 2, 2011. She was preceded by her father and a sister, Patricia Floyd.
