Kathryn Watson, born April 9, 1922 and died Dec. 17, 2010. Kathryn Wainscott Watson was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Hillsboro, TX for most of her life. She met and married her husband, Wayman R. Watson (deceased) while playing the piano there as he led in song. They remained active and participated in many church endeavors in Hillsboro until 1986. They then moved to Comfort, TX to be near their only child. In 1987 they moved their membership to First Baptist Church in Boerne, TX, where they attended until their health no longer permitted it. She was a devout Christian and lived her life by those traditions and expectations. Kathryn was preceded in death by her husband, Wayman R. Watson, who died May 29, 2006, brothers, Robert Wainscott of California, and Rubert Wainscott of Dallas, TX. She is survived by one daughter, Paula Motley (Carlos) of Comfort, TX, one sister, Billie Bruton of Dallas, TX, 2 grandchildren, Lou Skeels of Comfort, TX and Kristen Lovett of Cookeville, TN; 4 great grandchildren, Robyn & Laci Skeels,and Meghan and Matt Lovett.
