Kathleen Wenzel Biale, 84, of Noblesville, Indiana peacefully passed away on February 10, 2021 after a difficult battle with ALS. Kathleen was born on May 17, 1936 in the quiet town of Bethlehem, PA. After Kathleen graduated from Allentown Central Catholic high school in 1954 , she pursued a degree in Nursing at St Luke’s Hospital graduating on October 18, 1957. After graduation, she and her best friend Betsy drove across the country to fulfill their dreams of living in California. On August 27, 1960 Kathleen married John Henry Biale lll and went on to have three children, John, Gina, and Carol. The family spent their early years near John’s family in the beautiful city of San Francisco, California until his work moved them to the midwestern state of Indiana. Although Kathleen worked in nursing for over 45 years, she developed a passion for art and attended the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, Indiana. Her true love lead her to become affiliated with numerous organizations including: Indiana Artist Club; Hoosier Salon; Indiana Heritage Arts; Watercolor Society of Indiana Cincinnati Art Club; Indiana Plein Air Painters Association; Oasis Muncie Art Center; Bona Thompson Center Solo Exhibition; 81st Hoosier Salon Annual Exhibition; Gateway National Juried Show. Kathleen’s work has been described as that of enthusiasm and a love for motion and color. In her own words “I work in various media and feel as though God directs each of my designs. The direction of each piece of my work expresses feeling, mood, color and subject matter.
