Our sweet mother Kathleen Rose Farris passed away on November 7, 2021, at Ogden Regional Hospital. She was born May 09, 1945, at the Wendover Air Force Base in Wendover, UT. The daughter of Wayne and Betty Harmon. She was the second child of 5 children.

She married her soulmate Richard M Farris August 21, 1963, in Mountain Home Idaho. They first moved to Boise, Id.  where they started to build their new life together. On April 10, 1970, they moved to Roy Utah. Where she and Richard had bought their first home and raised their children Tressa, Mike, and Robert (Bobby).  For many years she had a daycare in her home. Caring for so many children. She also worked for Fitzgerald’s Family Bowling Center & Sparetime Family Fun Center in Roy UT. Every Saturday you would find her at the center running her much-loved junior leagues. She was brought smiles and laughter to so many generations of junior bowlers.

Our mother was an amazing lady always willing to go the extra mile for anyone. But her greatest joy had to be the children. It didn’t matter if it were her own kids, grandkids, great-grandchildren. Or the kids in the daycare, neighborhood and on her junior bowling leagues. She loved to hear the children laugh and see their smiles. She would say “The job of the adults is to make sure the children always feel safe, happy and loved.”

She is survived by her children Tressa Goff, Mike Farris, and Robert Farris all of Roy, UT. 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren & 1 great-granddaughter on the way. She is also survived by one brother Robert Harmon; one sister Mary Welch; and a brother-in-law Harvey Farris.

She is preceded in death by her husband & soulmate Richard Farris; Her father Wayne Harmon, mother Betty Harmon; one sister Karen Agee; and one brother Gary Harmon.

Mom your struggle is over and now you walk with the lord. You told us he would answer your prayers. We will miss you so very much. But find comfort knowing you are reunited with dad.
