Kathleen “Mike” Robbins Jennings, 64, of Amherst passed away at Lynchburg General Hospital on Friday, August 31st. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, David Reigh Jennings, Sr. Born in Lynchburg, VA, on December 6, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith Robbins. In addition to her devoted husband, she is survived by a daughter, Kelly Jones and husband, John; and a son, D.R. Jennings and wife, Glenda. Mike is also survived by two sisters, Carol Robbins and Tracey Esser and husband, Ron. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren, Kaitlyn Alexander, Joshua Jones, Jacob Jones, Natalie Jones, Angela Kern and Sarah Stinnette, and one great-grandchild, Aiden A. Kern. Mike was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Heath Jennings, and one sister, Jessica Selfe.
