KATHLEEN DORMAN RICHARDSON of Farmington CT passed away on February 18, 2016 after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her parents, Simon and Mary Frankowski of New Britain, CT and her sister Evelyn Zuk. Kathy, affectionately known as Goldie or Kathy, had been employed in the construction management field for many years and was the owner of KenRich Construction in South Florida prior to her retirement. After her retirement, she was an active volunteer with organizations such as American Red Cross, FOBAC and Our Companions Animal Rescue. She leave her children, Caprese Dorman of Southington, Erin Dorman and her husband Alan Peters of New Hartford and Brett Dorman of Bristol, as well as her granddaughter, Carissa Parent of Yarmouth ME and Sarah Parent of Bristol, great grandchildren Keeley, Gannon and Mannix Donahue of Bristol, along with nieces Karen Ott of Berlin and Roberta Garrick, great nieces Jennifer and Melissa Garrick of Boston and great nephew Alex Ott of Berlin. Kathy considered Christiane, Ab, Sami and Andrew Ghusn of Vienna VA as part of her extended family. Kathy continually demonstrated her passion for all animals, great and small, on a daily basis and ha a unique talent with socialization of feral cats.
