Kathleen O’Connor of Plymouth and formerly of Jamaica Plain, passed away on November 17, 2019 at Royal Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Norwell, at the age of seventy-six. She was born in Jamaica Plain on February 20, 1943 to Michael J. and Bridget (Diggins) O’Connor. She was the sister of Maureen Finn of Plymouth and the late Francis O’Connor, John O’Connor and Peggy McCullough. She leaves behind her nephews, John Finn of Marston Mills, Robert Finn of Georgia, Michael McCullough of Lakeville, Mathew McCullough of Connecticut, Thomas O’Connor of Florida and her nieces, Patricia McCullough of Kansas and Veronica Champion of Florida. Kathleen was a first-generation Irish immigrant and was very proud of her Irish heritage. She grew up in Jamaica Plain where she attended school. She worked as a Bank Teller for Bank of Boston for over thirty years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Jamaica Plain, the Disabled American Veterans Women Auxiliary and was the Coordinator for the Jamaica Plain Community Neighborhood. Kathleen loved spending time traveling to Ireland to visit relatives.
