Kathleen (Martin) Fill, 90, of Colchester and formerly of Amston, widow of the late Joseph J. Fill, passed away Saturday (Sept. 17, 2016) at the Wm. W. Backus Hospital in Norwich. Born June 6, 1926 in Natchitoches, LA, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Nellie (Plummer) Martin. Mrs. Fill had worked as a school nurse for Colchester Public Schools as well as RHAM High School in Hebron. She is survived by three sons, Ted Fill of Falmouth, MA; Tom Fill of Colchester, and Kevin Fill; two siblings, Dwight Martin and Sylvia Zimmerman; and numerous extended family and friends.
