Kathleen “Kay” Lozaw, 83, passed away quietly at home Wednesday, January 31, 2018. Kay will be deeply missed by Thomas Lozaw Sr., her husband of 57 years, and the rest of her family and friends.

Kay was an accomplished and compassionate registered nurse for 50 years. She gave loving care to her patients whether as a head nurse at West Penn Hospital, or as an emergency nurse at both Divine Providence and Bristol Hospitals. Kay finished her stellar career as a triage nurse for TeleNurse.

Kay’s loving and caring nature extended beyond her patients to everyone she encountered. Her husband, children, and grandchildren were the beneficiaries of that love each and every day. She further gave to others as a member of the Junior League and the Women’s Club of Plainville. An avid bridge player and cook, she briefly hosted a cooking show called “Cooking with Kay.”

Besides her husband, she is survived by her son, Thomas Lozaw, Jr., daughter-in-law, Kathryn Lozaw, son, Eric Lozaw, daughter-in-law, Dawn Lozaw, and three grandchildren, Grant, Gavin, and Emma.
