Kathleen “Kit” Veigel, 94, of Liberty Center, Ohio passed away June 6, 2023. Kathleen was born in Wauseon, Ohio on September 9, 1928 to the late Frank and Aletha (Lovell) Ellsworth. Kathleen married Neil David Veigel on March 19, 1949 and they were married for 53 years before he preceded her in death in 2003.
Kathleen is survived by her children: Diana Smith, William Veigel, and Steve (Jenny) Veigel; grandchildren: Brian, Megan, Kristin, Michael, Owen, David, and Alicia and a host of loving great grandchildren. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Neil, and son-in-law Charles Smith.
Kathleen was a member of Liberty Center United Methodist Church. Kathleen was a member of the Farm Bureau and the Woman’s Society where she served as President. She also was a Brownies and Cub Scout Leader.
