Kathleen “Kathy” D. Duncan, 72, of Kellogg died on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines.
Kathy, the daughter of Wilbur and Virginia (Beason) Hunter, was born May 20, 1947 in Colfax. She was raised in Colfax by her father and step mother Donna, until her teenage years when they moved to Grinnell and later to Kellogg.
Those left to cherish Kathy’s memory are her husband, Lonnie Duncan of Kellogg; children, Steven Duncan of Denver, Colorado, Darrin Duncan of Colfax, and Kristi Duncan of Cedar Rapids; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and her siblings, Kayleen Alter of Newton and Norman (Linda) Hunter of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rhondi Lynne Duncan; a brother in infancy; step-granddaughter, Dawnelle Weiland; and a grandson.
