Kathleen E. Dean, 90, of East Peoria, IL passed away at 3:30 am on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on March 24, 1926 in East Peoria, IL to Theodore and Arvilla (Collins) Rohman, Sr. She married Louis D. Dean on August 5, 1950 in Peoria, IL. He survives.
Also surviving are her children Edward Dean of East Peoria, Jack (Linda) Dean of LowPoint, Marcia (Gary) Staples of Peoria, and Roger Dean of Metamora; daughter-in-law Andi Dean of Washington; grandchildren Paul (Beth) Dean, Patrick (Amber) Dean, and Alison (Kevin) Reynolds Staples; five great-grandchildren; and nephew Mickie Rohman of East Peoria. She was preceded in death by brother Theodore G. “Bud” Rohman.
Kathleen was heavily involved with both the North Pekin Amvets Ladies Auxiliary and the Spring Bay American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
