Mrs. Kathleen Hayes Cureton, 95, of Newnan died Friday, February 06, 2009 at Wesley Woods of Newnan-Peachtree City. She was born June 30, 1913 in Mansfield, GA to the late Judson & L’angel David Hayes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Cureton.
She was a member of Newnan First United Methodist Church and retired after more than 30 years of teaching in Coweta County.
She is survived by her children, Glad (Frank) Eldridge of Atlanta, John (Brenda) Cureton of Moreland; siblings, Virginia Lee & Judson Hollis Hayes both of Jacksonville, FL; 3 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
