Kathleen Ann Knutson, 43, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011. Katie, as she liked to be called, was born August 20, 1967 in Oak Park, Illinois. She is survived by her parents, James G. and Marlene, her two brothers James T. and Thomas, as well as her two daughters, Jennifer and Mallory. Katie began her motherhood at a young age, but immediately dedicated her whole self to taking care of her children. She had the most caring personality and the kindest heart. Even at her weakest moments, she continued to make sure those around her were happy and healthy. She embraced her inspiring creativity through scrap booking and other crafts. Reading and classical music also brought great joy to her evenings. Her selfless and genuine soul has touched more hearts than she will ever know and she will forever be missed.
