Katherine V. Lazorchak (nee Adams) died Sunday September 25, 2016 at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly at the age of 87. She was born, raised and educated in Burlington City. She was a member of the Burlington High School, Class of 1948. Katherine was employed by Haines and Haines in Burlington for 12 years and then was a legal secretary for several Burlington City attorneys, retiring from the Brown and Connery Law Firm in Westmont, NJ. She was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Burlington and was a Sunday School teacher for over 18 years.

She was also a member of the Vestry, an active member of the Episcopal Church Women and the Welcome Committee. Katherine was also a Past Matron and Past Grand Officer of the Mt. Holly Chapter #147 of the Order of the Eastern Star. She also was a member of the Delanco and Burlington Township Senior Citizens Clubs and a member and secretary of the Commission on Aging in Burlington Township. In addition, Katherine was a member of the Burlington City Historical Society and served as a Cub Scout Den Mother in Burlington City and as an RSVP volunteer for Magowan School in Edgewater Park for 15 years.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen J. Lazorchak, son John H. Lincoln, Jr., and wife Jennifer of Burlington City, step son Frank Lazorchak and wife Christine of Massachusets, step granddaughter Andrea Simpson and husband Andrew of Baltimore, MD, step grandson Andrew Lazorchak of New York City and two step great grandchildren Connor and Samantha Simpson.
