Katherine D. Button, 66, passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. Katherine was born the daughter of the late Harry and Elizabeth (Goodman) Huxley on Monday, September 6, 1954, in Clifton Springs, NY. She graduated from Red Jacket High School class of 1972 and then attended college, graduating as a Registered Nurse.
She worked at Thompson Hospital, Red Jacket Schools, and retired from Wayne County BOCES. Kathy was a member and leader at Farmington United Methodist Church for many years. Kathy was known as a prayer warrior. She led and mentored people to prayer locally and across the country.
Katherine will be remembered by her loving husband of 45 years, Steve; son, Charles Andrew Button; daughter, Elizabeth (Dan) Kulp; grandchildren, Clarissa Rose, Kaitlyn Marie, Danielle, Simon, Shea, Emily, and Steven; sister, Debbie (Steve) Dressner; brother, Thom (Sally) Huxley.
Katherine was predeceased by her brother, Bill Huxley.
