Katherine Alice Montgomery (Yetman) went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2022. She was 79 years old and had fought a long, hard battle with serious illness. Katherine was born and raised in Norfolk, Virginia, graduated from Granby High School and attended the College of William and Mary.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Steve Yetman, Greenville, South Carolina; her daughter and caregiver, Melissa Montgomery Templeton; two granddaughters, Hannah and Abigail; Cathy Colbert Nickels, who was loved as a daughter; and her Montgomery family: Bud and Sheila, Beth, Jim and Mike, plus great nieces and nephews.
Katherine retired after managing a plastic surgery practice in Pensacola, Florida, for 43 years. She then moved to Lafayette, Indiana, to be close to family. Once in Indiana, she immediately joined Faith Church and their Peacemakers adult bible fellowship, whose members she loved as family.
Finally, Katherine and her family want to thank the physicians and staff at Innervision and at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Hospital for the care she received these past years.
