Karol Kay Snyder, 57, of Lilac Road, South Bend, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend.
Karol was born on June 4, 1948, in South Bend, to William and Rosemary (Haringer) Bare and was a lifelong area resident.
She is survived by her daughter, Robbyn Snyder of Indianapolis, Indiana; her two sons, Richard Snyder of Elkhart, Indiana and Robert Snyder of Atlanta, Georgia; four grandchildren, Aryn, Lauryn and Nicholas Snyder and Ty Geisleman; her parents, William and Rosemary Bare of South Bend; her sister, Billie Jean Catanzarite of Granger, Indiana; and her significant other, whom she lived with, Tom Zakrowski. She is also survived by her golden retriever, Samantha.
Karol worked for the South Bend Medical Foundation for 27 years, in the surgical records department.
