KAROL MEREDITH Karol Ann Sims Meredith, 52, of Roosterville, wife of Walter Eugene “Butch” Meredith died Friday, May 4, 2018 at Piedmont Hospital Newnan. Born in Arlington Heights, IL, August 21, 1965, she was a daughter of the late Larry Roy Sims and Edna May Geisler. She had earned a Liberal Arts Degree but chose a life of service formerly as a Paramedic and as an LPN at Piedmont Newnan Hospital for thirty years, retiring in 2018. She was a mother to many and will be missed by all those who so loved her. Mrs. Meredith was preceded in death by a sister, Nancee Richardson. Surviving in addition to her husband of thirty-two years are two daughters, Katy Henderson and husband Robert of Franklin and Kelley Meredith of home; a son, Dakota Meredith and girlfriend, Hannah Morgan McGuire of Carrollton; grandchildren, Eli Thompson, Brittany Sims, Katlyn Henderson and Bob Henderson; two brothers, Larry Sims of Roanoke, AL and Robert Sims of Goodwater, AL; a special friend who was like a mother, Patsy Dowdy; a friend who was as close as a sister, Dana Nyerges; and many other special friends and co-workers from Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
