Karla Gail Arnold, 57, took her heavenly flight to be with her Lord & Savior early this past Friday morning, April 27, 2018. Karla, better known as “Ya-Ya” was loved by all who knew her and brought much joy into everyone’s life. Her infectious smile and humor are best described by the verse “a merry heart doeth good like a medicine” (Proverbs 17:22). She was an active member and faithful servant at Bible Baptist Church, and she enjoyed working with the Senior Saints group at church. The love of her life were her grandchildren with whom she shared many a treasured moment. She was reunited in heaven with her parents, Carl and Joyce Arnold and David Walsh. She is survived by her daughters, Nikki McKnight and husband, Tim of Haw River and Amanda Walker and husband, Rick of Sanford; brother, Kery Arnold and wife, Pam of Perry, MI; sister, Anita Sterling and husband, Jeff of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Ricky Walker, Lorelai McKnight, Joe Walker, Daniel Walker, Joshua Walker, Sam McKnight, Christy Anna Walker and Abigail Walker.m. at Bible Baptist Church. Rev. Greg Allison will officiate.m. at the church. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints” (Psalm 116:15) reminds us all of how most precious she is to the Lord – but she was precious to all of us as well. “Someday you will hear or read that “Ya-Ya” is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I have just changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God.” (Original Quote by Evangelist Billy Graham).
