Karen M. Guilmette, 48, passed away peacefully Sat., Oct. 11, 2014, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Elyria, OH grew up in Lorain and graduated from Lorain Southview High School in 1984. She was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force who enjoyed listening to music, helping others, making people laugh and devoting time to her daughters and grandchild. Karen was a deeply spiritual person.
She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer L. and Kristina N. Guilmette; granddaughter, MacKenzie, all of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, father, Donald J. Rognstad of N. Ridgeville, OH; sister, Diane Howard-Coventry of Central America and sister, Donna M. Cirilo of Elyria, OH.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Beverly J. Rognstad in 2011.
