Karen Hollingsworth, 60, of Colchester, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London after a courageous struggle with cancer. Karen was born in Summit, NJ, on April 11, 1957. She was a daughter of the late John and Edith (Peterson) Soderberg. She married her beloved husband, Greg on July 23, 1983. The couple moved to Colchester in 1986 where they made their home and raised their family. Karen worked as a Math teacher at RHAM and East Lyme public schools.
