Karen L. McCullough, 55, of Metamora, IL, passed away at 7:05 pm on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at her residence. She was born on August 7, 1965 in Peoria, IL to Arthur M. and Nancy L. (Smith) Bernius. She married Daryl J. McCullough on January 10, 1996 in Metamora, IL.
Surviving are her husband, Daryl of Metamora; mother, Nancy Bernius of Metamora; three brothers, Greg Bernius of Buda, TX, Jeff (Karen) Bernius of Portland, OR, and Doug Bernius of Metamora; and two nephews, Nate and Cole Bernius. She was preceded in death by her father.
Karen was the assistant produce manager at the Metamora IGA. She enjoyed traveling out west to the mountains and being outdoors and going to the woods in the spring time during mushroom hunting season.
