Karen Jarrett, 64, of Three Oaks, Michigan died Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, St. Joseph. Karen was born October 17, 1945 in East Chicago, Indiana to Aubrey and Ellen (Jones) Bethel.She graduated from Morton High School in Hammond, Indiana in 1963. Karen enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s activities, loved to cook, fish, cross stitch needlework and word search puzzles.
She was an avid White Sox and Bears fan. She had served her community as a member of the Three Oaks Planning Commission.Survivors include her sons, Chris (Rhonda) Siebenmark and Tim (Shelly) Jarrett, both of Three Oaks; grandchildren, Cameron Siebenmark, Katlyn Jarrett, Samantha Jarrett, David Spaulding and Angela Wieczorek; and her close friends, Nita and Jim Murray.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brother Ben Bethel.
