Karen Fay Buchanan Frazier, 46, Anderson, passed away November 4, 2011 at her residence. She was born December 10, 1964 in Muncie, Indiana, and resided in Anderson for 22 years.
Karen was a 1983 graduate of Wapahani High School and spent two years at Ball State Univeristy. She worked in advertising and sales at the Herald Bulletin for nine years; three years at the Yellow Pages and two years at the Indianapolis Star.
Karen was a member of Fairlawn Church of Christ in Muncie. She had a lot of friends and they will miss her Her Shadyside Park walking friends will miss her also.
She is survived by her husband, W. Scott Frazier, RN, who took care of her 24/7 in every way possible; son, Michael Anderson, who has been a good example to her and was her rock; mother, Faye Reese Buchanan, who took care of her all of her life; step-children, Connie Cox, Drew Frazier, JoAnn Frazier, who have been Karen and Scott’s support; siblings, Bryan Buchanan, Chris Buchanan, and Andrea Keesling; grandkids, Chloe Cox, Gracie Cox, Lola Frazier, August Pritchit and River Pritchit; nieces and nephews, Khara Lord Aerts, Jordan Lord, Andy Lord, Luke Buchanan, Lance Buchanan and Katie Lord Pritchit.
Special thanks to Dr. David Mares and his PA, Brandon; Dr. Anthony Hill and Dr. Brian Eddy. She was preceded in death by her precious dad, Harold Buchanan; grandparents, William and Celia Buchanan; and uncle, Billy Buchanan.
