Karen C. Cantelmi, 74, was surrounded by her loving family when she passed away peacefully at her son’s home in Bethlehem on Sunday, August 19, 2018. She was the devoted wife of the late Dino P. Cantelmi who passed away on November 22, 2015. Born in Danville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Christine R. (Woolcock) Warmkessel. Karen was a graduate of Shamokin High School and went on to further her education at the Harrisburg Hospital School of Nursing. A long-time resident of Fountain Hill, she worked as a Registered Nurse for St. Luke’s Hospital and Cedarbrook Nursing Home. In her lifetime, Karen enjoyed bowling, baking and playing pinochle. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

SURVIVORS: She will be deeply missed by her sons Dino Cantelmi and his wife Joanna with whom she resided in Bethlehem and Christopher Cantelmi and his wife Ailene of Bethlehem; daughters Lori Diaz and her husband Robert of South Whitehall Township and Tara Markovich and her husband Anthony of Hanover Township; grandchildren Bianca, Ethan, Dino, Jr., and Isabella Cantelmi, Nicole Cantelmi, Marisa, Madisan, and Maya Diaz, Emily, Benjamin, and Tyler Markovich, Iris and Dario Cantelmi; great-grandchildren Jaelyn and Ronnie; brother Glenn Warmkessel and his wife Katalin of Palm City, FL and many loving nieces and nephews. Karen was preceded in death by her brother Kenneth Warmkessel.
