Karen A. Wright, 60, of Elkhart, passed away at her home Sunday, Jan. 31, at 10:35 a.m.
She was born in Elkhart on Aug. 3, 1955, to the late Robert and Georgia (Steffen) Kothe.
Surviving are her daughters Kimberly Fear of Mishawaka and Angiela Wright of Melbourne, Fla.; grandchildren Aiden, Stephen, Vanessa and Zachary, and her former spouse Frederick Wright of Mishawaka. She is preceded in death by her sister, Diana Schrock.
Karen worked many years at Elkhart’s 7-11 corporate offices until she retired in 2003 due to her health. She attended St. David’s Episcopal Church of Elkhart and enjoyed reading, watching movies, shopping, keeping journals and NASCAR. She will also be especially missed by her Chihuahua, Molly.
