Born in Finland, on May 24, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Edvard and the late Hilma Salonen. She was the wife of the late Edwin H. Palm, Sr. who died on July 24, 1989.
She was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church, Newark, DE. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include her children: Cynthia L. Havens of Elkton, MD, Edwin H. Palm, Jr. of Rising Sun, MD, Dawn K. Palm of Battle Ground, WA and Glen R. Palm of Elkton, MD; four sisters: Alina, Eeva, Aune and Anni; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
