Kade Cushman Bassett Keyes, 32, formerly of Idaho Falls, passed away Monday, March 28, 2016, at his home in Piketon, Ohio. Kade was born January 15th, 1984, to Roy and Elwyn Keyes at Riverside Hospital in Idaho Falls. He quickly formed lifelong bonds with older sisters Kristin and Kelsey.
Kade lived most of his life in Idaho Falls. He attended Temple View Elementary, Eagle Rock Junior High School, and graduated from Skyline High School in 2002. He attended Eastern Idaho Technical College where he earned Associate Degrees in Web Design and Radiation Safety.
Kade loved all things Scottish, including dressing up in his authentic kilt, as well as wild hats and listening to Weird Al Yankovic, Tenacious D, and The Dropkick Murphys. He was quite knowledgeable about beer and mixing drinks. He loved animals, especially his two cats. He was a big Red Sox fan and liked going to Idaho Falls Chukars games with family and friends. He enjoyed ice hockey, playing when he was a child. He was the family techie for computers, and the family advisor on the latest movies and new restaurants.
