He is survived by his lifelong partner, Deborah L. Frantzen of Galesburg; his sons, Joshua Eugene of Kansas and Jeremiah Joseph of Kansas; his daugher Angela Renee of Kansas; his brother, Terry Joe Coons of Bushnell; and his mother, Marlee Brooks of Galesburg. He was preceded in death by his father.
