June Davis Williams, 86, of Fairmont, passed away Thursday January 15, 2009 at Arbors of Fairmont Nursing Center. She was born June 14, 1922, in Cairo, WV the daughter of the late Leo Davis and Maggie Stiles Davis. June is survived by her husband Denzil B. Williams of whom is married in July 1937. June is also survived by 3 daughters; Carolyn Davis of Fairview, Patti Blare and husband Gary of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Kathy Cooper and Husband Rick of Dublin, VA; one son Donald Williams and wife Karen of Fairmont; 8 grandchildren; D. J. Williams of Morgantown, Kim Dunn and husband Bill of Fairmont, Beth Ann Speilman and her husband Rick of Fairmont, Robin Dodson and husband Roger of Dover Delaware, Christy Kelley and husband Dennis of Proctorville, OH., Dawn Richardson and husband James of Mooresville, NC, Danielle Asher and husband Jeff of Wilmington, NC, and Jacob Hess of Dublin VA. 17 Great grandchildren and 12 Great-great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, 3 sisters; Voila Brown and husband Jerry of Lumberport, Mae Johnson of Ohio, and Iris Miller of Grafton, 1 brother, Tom Davis and wife Daphne of N.Y. State. June is preceded in death by one daughter Imogene Williams, one sister; Mildred Williams, and four brothers; Fred Davis, John Davis, Jim Davis, and Dale Davis. Leo was a member of the United Methodist Church and worked as a Nurses Aide and in Medical records at Fairmont General Hospital for 27 years. She also loved to read, quilt, and crochet.
