June Crumley, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away December 31, 2019. Born in Sevierville, Tennessee, she attended Lincoln Memorial University, majoring in chemistry. She married A. T. Crumley and they lived in Blount County, Tennessee for more than fifty years. She lived the last 12 years of her life in Huntsville, Alabama.

Her life was filled with many roles: daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker, excellent seamstress, and volunteer. She was active in Logan’s Chapel United Methodist Church and the surrounding community to include teaching Sunday School, being a youth leader, serving as the UMW District President, and being an officer in Church Women United. For many years June and A.T. enjoyed traveling, especially taking their grandchildren on many exciting excursions.

She was preceded in death by her parents James Caleb and Alice Tarwater; and her beloved husband of 58 years, A. T. Crumley. She was also preceded in death by five brothers and five sisters. She is survived by her daughters: Carol Nixon (Douglas), and Leslie Lucking; grandchildren Jennifer Dodd (Rob), Emily Pierce (Joe Parry), Andrew Peters, Janet Pierce (Robert Cowart), Sean Lucking (Aline); four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
