Riverton: June Rose Moringo, 71, of this town, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, surrounded by her family, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Steven T. Moringo, Jr. who died in 2001. Born in Winsted, June 17, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Bernard M. and Christine G. (Pulver) Connole and had lived in this area all of her life. Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a supervisor for Stop and Shop Supermarkets for 15 years. Her survivors include her children, Kathleen Thiery and her husband Raymond of Norfolk and Mark Moringo of Riverton; a brother, Bernard “Jimmy” Connole of Winsted; two sisters, Holly Clapps of Torrington and Bunny Connole-O’Neil of Winsted; four grandchildren, Steven and Mark Moringo and Jennifer and Stephanie Thiery. She was predeceased by her son, Steven T. Moringo III.
