June L. Forman, 93, of Ashland, IL died Saturday, February 11, 2017, at the Walker Nursing Home in Virginia, IL.
She was born April 13, 1923 in Morgan County, IL, the daughter of Rudy and Pearl Decker Strubbe. She married Paul Anderson and they later divorced. She married Charles A. Forman on July 15, 1983 in Ashland and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1997.
She is survived by a daughter, Connie Burton of Ashland; six grandchildren, Donnie Burton (wife, Heather) of Auburn, Dallas Burton and Candy Smith, both of Ashland, Kyle Anderson of Virginia, Kim Anderson of Cape Coral, FL, and Doug Anderson (wife, Ashley) of Ft. Myers, FL; seven great grandchildren, Paige and Megan Burton, Evan and Ashley Smith, Jaxson and Jacob Anderson, and Trenton Anderson; a great great grandchild, Owen Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Reggie Anderson and his wife, Denise; three brothers, Paul, Cecil and Dean Strubbe; and a sister, Estalee Anderson.
June was a homemaker and loved working at the Sale Barn in Ashland, where she was in charge of the lunch room and chuckwagon. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and spending time with her family.
